The wild, wild west

Hey folks I’m back from the wild west, feeling moderately pleased with myself for managing two 4 hr flights on my own with a 2 1/2 and a 1 1/2 year old ( Al stayed home to hold the fort).
We all had a great time, and have left Nanna and Grampa astonished at how quiet their house has become.
I can see there is a lot of nooking I have to catch up on and have a few posts up my sleeve to boot!
It is wonderful that Melbourne has turned on such a glorious day for our return.
Hooray!

Hiya gold welcome back. Much admiration for 2 x 4hour flights with munchkins. I’m scared of flying.

Nook is behaving weirdly lately and a number people seem to have gone into hibernation. Your posts are usually thought provoking though so maybe you can rouse them from their slumber.

The art show was “postponed” due to lack of interest :( yet to see if it will be a goer.

Hi Golden - welcome back to the East as they call it in Perth. Well done with the kids en route. Whe our 5 yr old was about 1 we boarded a flight from Perth to Melb and promptly dropped the arm rest on his head - poor thing! Well you can imagine the leaps and bounds with which people moved away from us on that half empty flight! Fortunately it just gave us a lovely four seater row to our quiet and happy (for the rest of the flight!) family. Although I think you need some kind of engineering or manoeuvering degree to change nappies in those plane restrooms!

Hope your shows went as smoothly as your travel! :)
