A lovely outing
Published 1 year, 7 months ago in My life.Hey Shadow and John - thanks for organising a lovely afternoon. I’m so glad we were able to make it after all. It was great to meet you and the other nooksters! Gorgeous day! Beautiful place! Who could ask for anything more (apart from rhythm and music). Keep us posted about the exhibition.

Hear hear. It was great to meet everyone, and see the homestead (hopefully I got some good photos) and I definitely liked the sound of the plans for the exhibition! A great day
Hey Shadow - was not sure if I was clear in what I was saying yesterday but basically if the exhibition is before September I will help out in any way I can. If after September I would love to participate as an exhibitor. I didn’t want to suggest that you guys should have to wait for me or anything like that.
Lady Chaos - it was great to meet you and your beautiful sister. Ally was sad he did not get to talk to you both more, he loves to talk twin because he misses his own so much.
Thanks again for a lovely afternoon - we don’t get much opportunity for family outings at the moment, so we did really enjoy ourselves.
Thanks guys.
Due to privacy considerations, i can not name those who attended, however, the day was a golden 1,with no shadow cast on the sunshine. There was absoloutely no Chaos experienced. No winie as rose would not allow it. All in all
a trev ific day. sorry guys, but i am a writer…
No reason why we couldn’t do more getting togethers.
Yep, next time, the muso’s should bring their instruments and voices… And they, along with the poets, could bring their craft to any exhibition.
Indi.
I think when you expressed your inability to contribute untill December?, we all sort of sighed a bit. Fortunately, TREV was able to suggest that this exhibition need not be the last. As such, it will go ahead before September. (subject to confirmation re Leader Groups availability to hold and cater)
Anybody, whether arty or not, who wishes to be involved, please keep in touch with me either here on nook, or jmad2012@bigpond.net.au
My original idea to have my own gallery / cafe / live music venue still is on the go, and anybody with input re location style decoration etc please feel free to contact.
Rightly or wrongly, i would like my gallery etc to be as close as economicaly practicable to be in Knox.
I feel very positive about this Nooksters exhibiton,as well as my own private set up. My intuition usually works incredibly well.
Trev will post later re all the detaials.

and thanks all who came and supported the idea

Hey Indi, Thats good that you made that clear……phew, I thought you may have been hand beading something special that would take you up until September. (BTW Hope you managed to google- Annemieke Mein )
Shadowmaster, you obviously have organising capabilities. I’m sure you will get this thing on the road. Can I suggest Knox sounds great, put that on the backburner for the Nook exhibition no 2???? And encourage fellow nook people to put their energy into this one first.? Otherwise it may get messy, people might get confused and fizz out to nothing.
Yes Win I did - what beautiful work - I realised I had seen some of her work before but had never put a name to it! Thanks so much for putting me on to her. Am going to explore further!
winni, yep, i don’t want to confuse the issue, and yep, the first nook exhibit at blackburn is my only concern- for the moment. However, keep in the back of your mind thoughts for an ongoing permanent cafe / gallery / live music venue around knox or thereabouts.
Thanks for the support guys. IT IS OUR EXHIBITON.

SHADOWMASTER
Shadow, when the time comes to look for a permanent cafe / gallery I may have just the thing, let me know.
